Chamomille- Matricaria recutita

Chamomille Chamomile is well known for its relaxing and calming effect. You find chamomile growing wild, but there are so many sorts and it is only the Matricaria recutita that has healing properties.

The plant is good to use in babies bath-water especially for those with troublesome digestion and tendencies to stomach pain. Many know Chamomile as a lovely relaxing herb especially if it is difficult finding rest during the night with a too busy mind.

Use during history: Chamomile has been used towards digestive issues caused by nervousness, nervous diarrhoea, nose catarrh, motion-sickness, inflammation stomach and intestines, skin and mucous membranes, as sweat promoting.  Externally:  toward s haemorrhoids, wounds on legs.

Preparation: tea, infusion, breathing the steam, compress

Chamomille creameChamomile crème is excellent to delicate skin and sunburnt. It can be use both as a whole body crème and face crème and against itching and other troubles with the skin.
